India's industrial output likely rose 3.9% on year in December after posting an increase of 5.2% in November, with an unfavourable base effect seen as the primary drag, according to a poll of 13 economists by Informist. Industrial output, as measured by the Index of Industrial Production, had increased 4.4% in December 2023.
