The Union Cabinet, which met earlier Wednesday, is likely to approve a hike in the minimum support price of raw jute for the 2025-26 (Jul-Jun) season, a source said. The minimum support price of raw jute is likely to be hiked by over INR 280 per 100 kg from the current INR 5,335.
