The Union Cabinet Wednesday approved a 6% hike in the minimum support price of raw jute for the 2025-26 (Jul-Jun) season. The minimum support price of raw jute has been hiked by INR 315 per 100 kg to INR 5,650 per 100 kg, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal briefed the media after the Cabinet meeting.
