NEW DELHI – Ex-mill prices of sugar fell in Muzaffarnagar but were steady in the other key wholesale markets today, traders said.

* Prices of the sweetener in Muzaffarnagar, a key market in Uttar Pradesh, fell today because of weak demand from bulk buyers as they have already purchased the commodity as per their requirement.

* Prices were flat in Delhi and Mumbai today because of demand-supply parity.

* Following are the highlights of sugar trade in the domestic market today:

(Changes in price per 100 kg)

--Down 15-20 rupees at 3,720 rupees in Muzaffarnagar

--Flat at 3,710 rupees in Delhi

--Flat at 3,605 rupees in Kolhapur

--Flat at 3,812 rupees in Mumbai
