NEW DELHI – Prices of mustard fell marginally today in Jaipur, Rajasthan, due to lukewarm demand from domestic oil millers and crushers, while those of soybean remained steady in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, traders said.

* In Jaipur, MUSTARD was sold for 7,200 rupees per 100 kg, down 25 rupees from Saturday, a trader with Manishankar Oils said.

* Arrivals were pegged at 750,000 bags (1 bag = 84 kg) as against 900,000 bags the previous day. Projection of record mustard production this season is likely to cap the upside in the near term, the trader said.

* Prices of SOYBEAN were steady in Indore, the benchmark market for the oilseed in Madhya Pradesh, as arrivals were sufficient to meet the demand from domestic crushers and stockists, traders said.

* Arrivals were steady at 1,000 bags (1 bag = 100 kg), said N.K. Aggarwal, a local trader. The oilseed was sold at 7,500-7,700 rupees per 100 kg, largely unchanged from Saturday. End
