Eyes on Assembly polls, Bihar gets big chunk in Budget

With an eye on Assembly elections in Bihar later this year, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday announced a slew of measures for the state in the Budget for 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), including setting up the Makhana Board, greenfield airports, and the National Institute of Food Technology, Entrepreneurship and Management.
