NEW DELHI – Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Wednesday said it has renewed the title partnership with Jaguar TCS Racing. Under the renewed agreement, TCS will be Jaguar TCS Racing's official artificial intelligence partner for the formula-E world championship GEN4, hosted by the International Automobile Federation, the company said in a press release.
"The enhanced partnership will explore how artificial intelligence can unlock new efficiencies across racing operations and engineering while generating insights that support the development of next-generation Jaguar electric vehicles," the company said.
During the last five years, TCS and Jaguar TCS Racing have used cloud and digital twin technology to improve race performance. TCS's virtual vehicle validation model allows Jaguar TCS Racing engineers to validate software changes, run continuous simulations, and make split-second decisions, the company said.
"At the close of a great season (season 12), culminating in the Teams' World Championship, we are pleased to extend our partnership and build on that momentum as Formula E enters the GEN4 era," said Abhinav Kumar, global chief marketing officer at TCS. "With this renewal, we will further harness AI (artificial intelligence) and advanced technologies to unlock new performance opportunities to help Jaguar TCS Racing compete for more podiums and championship wins."
For the June quarter, Tata Consultancy Services reported consolidated net profit of INR 133.49 billion on revenues of INR 722.75 billion. At 1406 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 2,081.1 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, down over 1% from Tuesday. End
