M&M launches 3 XUV 3XO variants with new features, automatic transmission

Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Friday announced three new variants of its sports utility vehicle XUV 3XO offering new features across multiple transmission options. The company launched three new variants, XUV 3XO REVX EDGE, XUV 3XO REVX EDGE (O), and the XUV 3XO REVX M(O), it said in a press release.
The new variants are based on the REVX series introduced last year. REVX is M&M's specialised mid-tier variant line-up for the XUV 3XO model.
The XUV 3XO REVX Edge model will be available in two engine options – a 1.2 litre variant with automatic and manual transmission and a 1.5 litre turbo diesel variant with atuomatic and manual transmission. Their prices start from INR 939,000 and go up to INR 1.59 million, ex-showroom.
The REVX Edge(O) will be available with the same features, but in addtion, they will get panoramic sunroof, roof rails, electrically foldable outside rear-view mirrors, passive keyless entry, push-button start, automatic headlamps and automatic wipers. Their prices start from INR 989,000 and go up to INR 1.19 million, ex-showroom.
M&M also announced a petrol automatic version of the car named XUV 3XO M(O), starting INR 990,000, ex-showroom.
For the June quarter, M&M had reported a net profit of INR 36.85 billion on revenues of INR 419.59 billion. Friday, its shares ended at INR 3,052 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, 0.8% lower than Thursday. End
