IndusInd Bank, Navi UPI partner to strengthen technology infrastructure

NEW DELHI – IndusInd Bank Ltd. has tied up with Navi Ltd. to improve technology infrastructure for the latter's Unified Payments Interface operations. The partnership will bring together IndusInd Bank's banking capabilities and Navi's technology know-how to help boost and scale the foundation for Navi UPI, a payment gateway approved by the National Payments Corp. of India, amid the growing digital payment ecosystem, the bank informed the exchanges Thursday.
The addition of the new Unified Payments Interface switch will diversify Navi's technology stack, according to a joint press release. "The switch will be introduced in phases across Android and iOS devices and will be available to all Navi UPI users over the coming days."
For the June quarter, IndusInd Bank had reported a net profit of INR 10.03 billion on total income of INR 130.95 billion. Thursday, its shares ended at INR 990 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1.4% from Wednesday. End
