MUMBAI – Five asset management companies have enlisted on the mutual fund transaction platform of the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange. Axis Asset Management Company, LIC Mutual Fund Asset Management, Tata Mutual Fund, Nippon Life India Asset Management, and HDFC Asset Management Company have listed their schemes on NCDEX Nidhi platform, the exchange said in a circular Tuesday.

The mutual fund schemes listed in the circular will be available for transaction from Wednesday — the same day the platform becomes operative.

The exchange had earlier announced the launch of NCDEX Nidhi, its mutual fund transaction platform, to facilitate transactions in mutual fund schemes through a streamlined and technology-enabled exchange infrastructure. 

Mutual fund distributors, mutual intermediaries, and registered investment advisors are required to comply with the eligibility criteria, operational requirements, and documentation procedures prescribed by NCDEX periodically, it had said in an earlier circular.

All mutual fund distributors, mutual intermediaries, and registered investment advisors registered with the Association of Mutual Funds in India and enrolled with the respective asset management companies will be eligible to participate on the platform, subject to fulfilment of the applicable requirements, it had said.  End
