MUMBAI – HDFC Bank Ltd.'s growth in gross advances outpaced the rise in its deposits as of Jun. 30, provisional figures released Saturday showed. The bank's gross advances rose 15.4% on year to INR 30.6 trillion as of Jun. 30, while its total deposits were up 14.7% on year at INR 31.71 trillion, the lender said in an exchange filing.
For the March quarter, HDFC Bank had reported a net profit of INR 192.21 billion and total income of INR 898.09 billion. Friday, its shares closed at INR 801.05 on the National Stock Exchange, up almost 0.7%. End
