Wipro, Palo Alto Networks partner to deliver AI-driven cybersecurity services

--Wipro to deliver AI services to cyber security firm Palo Alto Networks
MUMBAI – Wipro Ltd. Tuesday said it will partner with global artificial-intelligence cybersecurity firm Palo Alto Networks to provide AI-powered cybersecurity defence. The partnership will bring together Wipro's managed security service CyberShield and Palto Alto Networks' security operations centre Cortex XSIAM to provide AI-driven managed detection and response services.
The new offering will deliver proactive cyber defence with simplified workflows using machine learning, AI, and automation to anticipate and protect against future attacks, according to a press release from Wipro. It will also enable faster detection and response across complex environments while focusing on critical, high-impact threats.
The offering is supported by Wipro's AI-delivery platforms WEGA and WINGS, which are part of Wipro Intelligence, the information technology major's suite of AI-powered platforms and solutions. The partnership builds on an existing foundation between the IT major and Palo Alto Networks across cloud, network, and security transformation, according to the press release.
Tuesday, Wipro shares ended at INR 174.49 on the National Stock Exchange, down over 3% from Monday. For the March quarter, the company had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 35.02 billion on revenues of INR 242.36 billion. End
