Fino Payments Bank's disbursals rise 186% on year to INR 2.10 bln in May

NEW DELHI – Fino Payments Bank's disbursals increased 186% on year to INR 2.10 billion in May, the lender informed exchanges Monday. The payments bank's average total deposits rose 10% on year to INR 27.62 billion in May. However, average total deposits were down from INR 28.01 billion in April.
The bank opened 293,600 new accounts in May, up 29% on year. The number of digitally active customers rose 19% on year to 6.26 million. The bank's renewal income grew 1% on year to INR 189 million.
For the March quarter, Fino Payments Bank reported a net profit of INR 71 million on total income of INR 3.40 billion. Shares of Fino Payments Bank Monday ended at INR 127.73 on the National Stock Exchange, down 3.8% from the previous close. End
