PM, Citi CEO discuss boosting India's growth, attracting global investors

MUMBAI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Citi Chair and Chief Executive Officer Jane Fraser, where they discussed supporting India's economic growth and investment landscape, Citi said in a press release Thursday. They also discussed how Citi can support India's economic agenda and help attract global investors to the country. Fraser was joined by Citi India CEO K. Balasubramanian at the meeting Wednesday.
"The discussion covered a range of topics, including investment and capital flows into India, opportunities for India's corporate sector abroad, alternative energy and artificial intelligence," the press release said. Their talks on AI covered regulation and areas where AI can be leveraged to support India's growth, the press release said. End
