NEW DELHI – Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. Wednesday said it has expanded its partnership with Euroclear Group to support the modernisation of Sweden's Central Securities Depository. As part of the partnership, Euroclear Sweden will deploy TCS BaNCS for Market Infrastructure and Quartz, Tata Consultancy Services' digital solutions platform, to build a scalable and cloud-ready Central Securities Depository platform aligned with evolving European market standards. The partnership builds on Tata company's existing relationship with Euroclear in Finland and is aimed at harmonising business and technology operations across the Nordic region.
The collaboration will support end-to-end operations across asset classes, including core registry, depository services, cross-border settlement, and asset servicing operations, as per the filing. Quartz will use distributed ledger technology and artificial intelligence to support tokenised assets, decentralised settlements, and real-time insights, the filing said. These solutions will support Euroclear's Nordic transformation strategy, which aims to standardise operations through a unified Central Securities Depository platform across Sweden and Finland. The implementation will include migration of the Swedish market to the European Central Bank's TARGET2-Securities platform for pan-European settlement.
For the March quarter, Tata Consultancy Services reported a consolidated net profit of INR 137.18 billion on revenue of INR 706.98 billion. At 1320 IST, shares of Tata Consultancy Services traded 8.4% lower at INR 2,2239.50 on the National Stock Exchange. End
