NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus narrowed to $18.60 billion in April from $21.00 billion in March, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Friday. Services exports rose 12.7% on year to $37.02 billion in April, while imports rose 8.9% on year to $18.42 billion.
In March, services exports and imports were at $38.21 billion and $17.21 billion, respectively. The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. The data may be revised when the balance-of-payments data are released quarterly. End
