--TCS launches SovereignSecure Cloud in Europe for public sector enterprises
MUMBAI – Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. has launched SovereignSecure Cloud in Europe, which combines sovereign cloud architecture with artificial intelligence capabilities. This service is designed particularly for governments, public sector enterprises, and regulated industries, the company said in a press release Tuesday.
"In the European Union (EU), the offerings will enable enterprises to achieve digital autonomy, strengthen regulatory compliance and enhanced security in an increasingly complex global environment without compromising on the speed, agility, and interoperability essential to modern businesses," the release said.
The cloud service comprises a sovereign cloud layer delivered through hyperscalers, providing scale and the flexibility to operate securely within the regulations of the European Union. Its national sovereign cloud layer enables country-specific localisation while bringing operations under a unified control plane, the release said.
The company has also introduced the TCS "Sovereignty Consulting and Delivery Framework" in the European Union to help organisations become a minimum viable "sovereign enterprise." The framework categorises workloads by importance and applies the right level of sovereignty to each, it said.
TCS reported a consolidated net profit of INR 137.18 billion for the March quarter on revenues of INR 706.98 billion. At 1350 IST, shares of the company traded at INR 2,285 on the National Stock Exchange, down 1% from Monday. End
