Kama Holdings PAT rise slowest in 4 quarters; sales growth muted

MUMBAI – Kama Holdings Ltd.'s consolidated net profit for the March quarter grew at its slowest pace in four quarters as its revenue from operations grew moderately. The sale of products constituted a major portion of the company's net sales.

 

The investment holding company posted a consolidated net profit of INR 2.94 billion for the March quarter, up nearly 11% on year and nearly 35% on quarter. Its consolidated revenue from operations for the quarter rose 7% on year to INR 46.58 billion. Sequentially, the revenue grew over 24%. In terms of segmental revenue, the chemical business contributed the most at INR 24.48 billion.

 

The company's total expenses for the quarter rose over 6% on year to INR 38.90 billion. Of the total expenses, the cost of materials consumed rose nearly 7% on year to INR 21.33 billion. The exchange currency fluctuation loss rose nearly 180% on year to INR 1.26 billion.

 

The net profit of Kama Holdings for the financial year 2025-26 (Apr-Mar) rose to INR 9.31 billion, up over 47% from INR 6.32 billion for FY25. Its net sales for the period grew over 7% to INR 159.30 billion.

 

Kama Holdings announced its financial results after market hours. Monday, shares of the company ended at INR 2,602, up nearly 1% from Friday, on the National Stock Exchange.  End
