NEW DELHI – India is committed to address the concerns of Indian traders and also create opportunities to make them more competitive globally, Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said. On Friday, Goyal and Shipping Minister Sarbananda Sonowal met Indian traders and port authorities amid challenges faced due to the war in West Asia. 

 

In a social media post on X, Goyal said, "We are committed to ensuring coordinated, time-bound measures to address concerns and create opportunities to make Indian traders more competitive globally with a 'Whole of the Government' approach." According to Goyal, the government has relentlessly worked to build a seamless, efficient, responsive and future-ready trade ecosystem to advance ease of doing business.  End
