India's WPI inflation rises to 8.30% in Apr from 3.88% in Mar

NEW DELHI – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry Thursday released inflation data based on the Wholesale Price Index for April.
LATEST: The WPI index for all commodities was 167.0 in April, up 3.9% from 160.8 in March. WPI inflation was 8.30% in April, up from 3.88% in March and 0.85% in April 2025.
NEXT UPDATE: The commerce ministry will detail the WPI data for May on Jun. 15.
