NEW DELHI – India's services trade surplus widened to $21.00 billion in March from $17.84 billion in February, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Thursday. Services exports rose 7.2% on year to $38.21 billion in March, while imports fell 1.6% on year to $17.21 billion.
In February, services exports and imports were at $34.71 billion and $16.87 billion, respectively. The central bank releases provisional monthly data on India's services trade. The data may be revised when the balance-of-payments data are released quarterly.
In 2025-26 (Apr-Mar), India's services trade surplus rose 14.3% on year to $216.68 billion. Services exports rose 8.6% on year to $421.36 billion in FY26, while imports grew 3.2% on year to $204.67 billion. End
