MUMBAI - HDFC Life Insurance Co. Ltd’s net profit for the March quarter rose to INR 4.96 bln from INR 4.77 bln in the year-ago period. The insurer’s net premium income rose to INR 258.29 bln from INR 237.66 bln a year ago. HDFC Life will pay a final dividend of INR 2.10 per share, the record date for which has been set Jun. 19. Shares of the company Thursday closed 1.4% lower at INR 631.50 on the NSE.
