FSIB recommends Rakesh Kashyap for post of NABARD deputy MD

NEW DELHI – The Financial Services Institutions Bureau has recommended Rakesh Kashyap for the position of deputy managing director of the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development, the bureau said in a release late Tuesday. Currently, NABARD has two deputy managing directors, Ajay Kumar Sood and Goverdhan Singh Rawat. Sood's term will end in August 2027 and Rawat's in November 2028.

 

The bureau selected Kashyap after interfacing with 17 candidates for the position. "Keeping in view their performance in the interface, their overall experience and the extant parameters, the Bureau recommends Shri Rakesh Kashyap for the position of DMD in NABARD," the release said. Once approved by the government, Kashyap will hold the office for five years, subject to the normal age of superannuation of 60 years.  End
