NEW DELHI – InterGlobe Aviation Ltd., which runs the low-cost airline IndiGo, Wednesday said it had cancelled more than 500 flights to West Asia and other select international destinations between Saturday and Tuesday amid the continuing military conflict in the region which erupted Saturday, prompting airspace restrictions.
"Our operational teams are continuously assessing the evolving regional developments, recalibrating flight schedules, and planning repatriation operations in coordination with relevant authorities in India and the respective international jurisdictions, with the objective of minimizing disruption to passengers," the company said in an exchange filing.
For the December quarter, InterGlobe Aviation had reported a net profit of INR 6.13 billion on a revenue of INR 234.72 billion. At 1134 IST, its shares were down almost 5% at IRN 4,310.10 on the National Stock Exchange. End
