--ICICI Pru AMC to offer mutual fund pdts to customers of Central Bk of India
MUMBAI – Central Bank of India Ltd. Friday entered a distribution agremeent with ICICI Prudential Asset Management Co. Ltd. and Canara Robeco Asset Management Co. Ltd. to offer mutual fund products to the customers of the bank.
"The participation by both the entities in this arrangement will result in offering the customers of Central Bank of India an opportunity to unlock the value of their savings through various mutual fund products," the bank said in an exchange filing.
ICICI Prudential is a joint venture between ICICI Bank and Prudential PLC. London. On other hand, Canara Robeco AMC is a joint venture between Canara Bank Ltd. and ORIX Corp. Europe.
Friday, shares of Central Bank ended at INR 40.07 apiece on the National Stock Exchange, down nearly 1% from the previous session. For the December quarter, the bank had reported net profit of INR 12.63 billion on interest incoem of INR 90.33 billion.
Shares of ICICI Prudential ended at INR 3,112.10 apiece on the NSE, marginally down. For the December quarter, ICICI Prudential reported net profit of INR 9.17 billion on revenues of INR 15.15 billion.
Shares of Canara Robeco AMC ended at INR 251.70 apiece on the NSE, marginally down. For the December quarter, Canara Robeco AMC reported net profit of INR 527.54 million on revenues of INR 1.1 billion. The company got listed in October last year. End
