AI Summit ends with adoption of declaration on AI impact based on 7 pillars

NEW DELHI – The AI Impact Summit, held in New Delhi, concluded with the adoption of the New Delhi Declaration on impact of artificial intelligence, based on seven pillars, ministry of electronics and information technology said in a press release on Saturday.
The India AI Impact Summit was held this week till Saturday. The declaration was made on Wednesday and Thursday by 88 countries and international organisations.
The declaration is structured around seven key pillars, which form the foundation of global AI cooperation. The seven pillars are--democratisation of AI resources, economic growth and social good, secure and trusted AI, AI for science, access for social empowerment, human capital development, and resilient, efficient and innovative AI systems.
"We acknowledge that the AI Impact Summit will contribute to strengthening international cooperation and multistakeholder approach to advance shared priorities as well as voluntary and non-binding guidelines and principles, which can promote AI for ensuring a prosperous future for humanity," it said.
