HDFC AMC raises stake in Five-Star Business Finance by 2.15% to 7.15%

MUMBAI – HDFC Asset Managament Co. Ltd. has raised its stake in Five-Star Business Finance Ltd. by 2.15% to 7.15%. "...we wish to inform you that there has been an increase in the shareholding of the Company by the Schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund by 2.15% as of February 17, 2026," HDFC AMC said in an exchange filing Thursday.
The aggregate holding of the schemes of HDFC Mutual Fund in Five-Star Business was 7.15% as on Tuesday, up from 5.00% as on Sept. 5. HDFC AMC now holds 21.06 million shares of Five-Star Business, up from 14.74 million as on Sept. 5.
HDFC AMC reported a net profit of INR 7.70 billion for the December quarter, up 20% on year, while Five-Star Business' net profit rose 1% on year to INR 2.77 billion.
At 1212 IST, shares of HDFC AMC were down 2% at INR 2,756.70 on the National Stock Exchange. Five-Star Business' shares were up 0.4% at INR 441.35 on the exchange. End
