MUMBAI – Infosys Ltd. Tuesday unveiled its artificial intelligence first value framework to help global enterprises utilise its generative and gentic AI suite Infosys Topaz. This move opens new frontier in information technology services and will enable the company to tap incremental AI first opportunity of $300 billion-$400 billion by 2030, the company said in regulatory filing, citing a recent Nasscom-McKinsey Report.

Infosys looks to capture new demand for AI first services across six value pools and augment existing services with AI to expand wallet share, the IT major said. Under this strategy, the company will design and implement AI strategies, platforms, and architectures made to meet business needs. It will prepare enterprise data, both structured and unstructured, for AI model readiness. Infosys will transform core business processes by integrating AI agents and human expertise, with a focus on redesigning end-to-end workflows.

The IT company will leverage AI agents to reverse-engineer existing estates, understand their intent and progressively modernise them without disruption, helping firms reduce technical debt while gaining the agility to respond to changing business demands. Infosys will design "intelligent" products and embed AI into physical devices so they can capture sensor data, interpret signals, and take real-time action, the company said. Lastly, the company will ensure AI systems and agents embrace responsible, secure, and ethical AI practices across their entire lifecycle.

For the quarter ended December, Infosys reported consolidated net profit of INR 66.54 billion on revenue of INR 454.79 billion. Tuesday, shares of Infosys ended around 2% higher at INR 1,391.20 on the National Stock Exchange.   End
