India Jan WPI inflation rises to 1.81% from 0.83% in Dec

MUMBAI – The Ministry of Commerce and Industry Monday released the inflation data based on the Wholesale Price Index for January.
LATEST: The WPI index for all commodities was 157.8 in January, up 0.5% from 157.0 in December. WPI inflation was 1.81% in January, up from 0.83% in December and 2.51% in January 2025.
NEXT UPDATE: The commerce ministry will detail the WPI for February on Mar. 16.
