MUMBAI – Coal India Ltd. Monday said it has raised the salaries of executives up to the mid-level, notionally, from Jan. 1, 2027. The salary hike arrears are payable from Aug. 23, 2023, with an expected impact of INR 34 billion until Dec 31, 2026, the company said in an exchange filing.
Coal India reported a consolidated net profit of INR 43.54 billion for the quarter ended September on a revenue of INR 301.87 billion. Monday, shares of the company ended at INR 423.50 on the National Stock Exchange, up 0.9% from the previous close. End
