India Dec CPI-IW inflation rises to 3.13% from 2.56% in Nov

NEW DELHI – India's CPI inflation for industrial workers rose to 3.13% in December from 2.56% in November, according to data released by the Labour Bureau Friday. The inflation rate for industrial workers in December 2024 was 3.53%.
The index for CPI for industrial workers was unchanged at 148.2 in December from 148.2 the previous month. CPI inflation for industrial workers in December was higher than the more widely tracked CPI (Combined). Headline CPI inflation was at a three-month high of 1.33% in December.
