NEW DELHI – Gross foreign direct investment into India fell to $6.41 billion in November from $6.54 billion a month ago. This was, however, higher than $5.23 billion reported in November last year, according to the Reserve Bank of India's bulletin released Wednesday.
On a net basis, FDI recorded an outflow of $446 million in November as repatriations rose to $5.34 billion during the month. During the month, foreign direct investment by India halved to $1.51 billion from $3.21 billion a month ago and it was also lower than $2.32 billion in November last year. Net FDI had seen an outflow of $2.49 billion a year ago. In October, the net FDI outflow was $1.67 billion with repatriations of $5.00 billion. End
