MUMBAI – Outstanding deposits by non-resident Indians rose to $167.97 billion at the end of November, down from $168.23 billion as on Oct. 31, according to provisional data released Wednesday by the Reserve Bank of India. The data for November are provisional.
Deposits in non-resident (external) rupee accounts were at $100.50 billion at the end of November, down slightly from $101.03 billion at the end of October. Outstanding deposits in foreign currency non-resident (banks) accounts were at $34.67 billion as on Nov. 30, up slightly from $34.40 billion reported at October-end. End
