CPI-AL inflation rises to 0.04% in Dec from (-)0.66% in Nov

NEW DELHI – India's annual inflation based on CPI for agricultural labourers rose to 0.04% in December from (-)0.66% in November, according to data released by the labour ministry Tuesday. The overall index for agricultural labourers in December was 137.12, slightly lower than 137.40 in November.
The inflation based on CPI for rural labourers was 0.11% last month compared with (-)0.47% in November. The index for rural labourers was 137.03 in December, down from 137.30 in November.
The government in July revised the base year for CPI for agricultural labourers and rural labourers to 2019 from 1986-87. CPI for agricultural labourers and CPI for rural labourers is used to revise minimum wages for agricultural labour and rural labour in different states. End
