--Govt source: India's goods exports till Jan 14 up YoY
NEW DELHI – India's goods exports were up year-on-year till Jan. 14, a top commerce ministry official said, describing the growth as "highly positive". India's exports were $36.34 billion in January last year.
If the exports growth holds up in the remaining part of January, it will mark the third consecutive month of growth in exports after they fell 12.3% in October. India's goods exports rose 19.4% in November and 1.9% in December.
India's merchandise exports have been resilient despite a 50% tariff on Indian goods in the US. The tariff has been effective since August. End
