--IOC, Maruti Suzuki inks MoU to expand vehicle services at fuel stations
NEW DELHI - Indian Oil Corp. Ltd. Monday said it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Maruti Suzuki India Ltd. to establish the carmaker's service facilities at select fuel pumps run by the state-run oil marketing company across India. "This integration will allow customers to access scheduled periodic maintenance and minor repairs for their Maruti Suzuki cars, at the same locations where they refuel, creating a more efficient and seamless experience," IOC said in an exchange filing.
For the September quarter, Maruti Suzuki reported a net profit of INR 32.93 billion on revenue of INR 421.01 billion while Indian Oil Corp. reported a net profit of INR 76.10 billion on revenue of INR 2.03 trillion. At 1238 IST, shares of Maruti Suzuki traded 0.6% lower at INR 16,405 and shares of IOC traded 0.6% lower at INR 156.62 on the National Stock Exchange. End
