--M&M launches XUV 3XO EV starting at INR 1.39 mln
NEW DELHI - Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. Tuesday said it has launched the electricity-powered XUV 3XO, with prices starting INR 1.39 million, ex-showroom. The EV model of the sport utility vehicle will be offered in two variants, the AX5 and AX7L, the company said in a press release. The upper variant has been priced at INR 1.5 million.
Deliveries are expected to commence from Feb. 23. The EV variant will come equipped with a 39.4-kilowatt-hour battery pack. Under the hood, it will have an engine with a torque of 310 Newton-metre. The car can go from zero to 100 kilometres per hour within 8.3 seconds, M&M said.
On the safety front, the models will have level 2 of advanced driver assistance systems, or ADAS, with features such as lane keep assist, auto emergency braking, smart pilot assist, and adaptive cruise control.
The internal combustion engine variant of M&M XUV 3XO was launched in April 2024 and sold around 180,000 units so far.
For the September quarter, M&M reported net profit of INR 45.21 billion on revenue of INR 350.80 billion. Tuesday, its shares closed 0.1% lower on the National Stock Exchange at INR 3,785.60. End
