Trent Q3 revenue grows 17% YoY to INR 52.2 bln; co opens 17 Westside stores

NEW DELHI – Trent Ltd. Monday said its revenue from the sale of products, exclusive of goods and services tax, stood at INR 52.20 billion for the December quarter, up 17% on year. The company added 17 Westside stores and 48 Zudio stores during the reporting quarter on a net basis, it said in an exchange filing.
Trent's revenue for Apr-Dec grew 18% on year to INR 146.04 billion. During this period, it net added 30 Westside stores and 89 Zudio stores. As of Dec. 31, the company's overall portfolio included 278 Westside stores and 854 Zudio stores, which include 4 in the United Arab Emirates, and 32 stores across other lifestyle concepts.
For the September quarter, the company had reported a net profit of INR 4.51 billion on revenues of INR 47.24 billion. On Monday, its shares closed 0.5% higher on the National Stock Exchange at INR 4,429.80. End
