Kotak Mahindra Bk's net advances up 16% YoY as of Dec 31, deposits rise 15%

NEW DELHI – Kotak Mahindra Bank Ltd.'s net advances rose 16% on year to INR 4.80 trillion as of Dec. 31, according to provisional figures released by the bank Monday. Sequentially, the bank's net advances were up 3.8% from INR 4.63 trillion at the end of September.
The bank's total deposits were INR 5.43 trillion as of Dec. 31, up 14.6% on year and 2.6% on quarter. Current account savings account deposits rose 11.9% on year to INR 2.24 trillion. CASA deposits were largely unchanged from end-September.
Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a net profit of INR 32.53 billion for the September quarter on total income of INR 162.39 billion. On Monday, shares of the bank closed 0.2% lower at INR 2,190.90 on the National Stock Exchange. End
