Karur Vysya Bank to lower base rate, BPLR by 45 bps each from Wednesday

NEW DELHI – Karur Vysya Bank Ltd. will lower its base rate and benchmark prime lending rate by 45 basis points each, with effect from Wednesday, the bank informed exchanges Monday. Post revision, the base rate of the bank will be 10.70% and the benchmark prime lending rate will be 15.70%.
For the September quarter, the bank had reported a net profit of INR 5.74 billion, up 21.19% on year. Shares of the bank Monday ended 1.8% higher at INR 277.40 on the National Stock Exchange. End
