KOLKATA – Poonawalla Fincorp Ltd. Monday said its provisional assets under management grew by 77.5% on year and 15.3% on quarter to approximately INR 550 billion as on Dec. 31. The company continues to have ample provisional liquidity of around INR 64.5 billion as on Dec. 31, it said in a regulatory filing with the bourses. 

 

"The company stands by its risk first approach, robust risk management systems and a diversified asset base", it said in the filing. "As we continue to scale, our focus and commitment stands on business expansion in line with building a long-term

sustainable profitable model."

 

Poonawalla Fincorp, however, added that the financial information is subject to limited review by the statutory auditors. The

non-banking finance company reported a consolidated net profit of INR 742 million for the quarter ended September against a loss of INR 4.71 billion a year ago. Friday, its shares closed 0.6% down at INR 480.55 on the National Stock Exchange.  End
