--PNB keeps MCLR unchanged across tenures effective Thursday 

 

NEW DELHI – Punjab National Bank has kept its marginal cost of funds-based lending rates unchanged across tenures, effective Thursday, it said in an exchange filing Wednesday. The MCLR for the bank ranges from 7.95% to 9.05% for overnight to three-year tenures.

 

The bank has also kept the existing repo-linked lending rate, which is 8.10% and includes benchmark spread premium of 0.10%, and base rate of 9.50% unchanged. The Reserve Bank of India's norms require banks to review their MCLR every month.

 

For the September quarter, the public-sector bank had reported a net profit of INR 49.04 billion. Its net interest income for the quarter was INR 104.69 billion. Wednesday, shares of the bank closed at INR 123.58 on the National Stock Exchange, up 1%.
