RBI OKs Ratan Kumar Kesh's reappointment as Bandhan Bank ED for 3 years

NEW DELHI – The Reserve Bank of India has given its approval for the reappointment of Ratan Kumar Kesh as an executive director of Bandhan Bank Ltd. for three years, the lender told the stock exchanges Friday. Kesh's reappointment will come into effect from Mar. 31.
"The said re-appointment of Mr. Kesh, as 'Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer' and Key Managerial Personnel of the Bank, is subject to the approval of the Shareholders of the Bank," the bank said in its filing. "Mr. Kesh shall be liable to retire by rotation."
Kesh has been an executive director and chief operating officer of Bandhan Bank since Mar. 31, 2023. He leads multiple functions, including technology, operations, customer experience, transformation, internal audit, recovery, and other support functions.
Bandhan Bank had reported a net profit of INR 1.12 billion for the September quarter, down 88% on year. Shares of the bank Friday ended 1% lower at INR 144.88 on the National Stock Exchange. End
