--L&T classifies contracts of INR 10 bln-INR 25 bln as 'significant'
MUMBAI – Larsen & Toubro Ltd. Wednesday said it has received a 'significant' order between INR 10 billion and INR 25 billion for the Mumbai metro railway project under transportation infrastructure business, according to an exchange filing. The company got the project from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority and the work includes electrification of a 24.72-kilometre line that runs between Wadala's Bhakti Park and Cadbury Junction. The project includes maintenance work for five years.
For the quarter ended September, L&T had reported a consolidated net profit of INR 39.26 billion on revenue of INR 679.84 billion. At 1050 IST, shares of the company were marginally higher at INR 4,062 on the National Stock Exchange. End
