IMD sees dense to very dense fog over Uttarakhand, UP, Haryana Sunday

MUMBAI – The India Meteorological Department expects dense to very dense fog during the morning hours over some parts of Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, and Haryana Sunday. Dense fog is also expected over Uttarakhand on Monday, and over parts of northeast India till morning hours of Thursday.
Cold wave conditions are very likely in parts of central Maharashtra, south interior Karnataka on Sunday and Monday, over north interior Karnataka on Tuesday, and over Telangana from Sunday to Tuesday, IMD said. Cold wave to severe cold wave conditions are very likely in north interior Karnataka on Sunday and Monday. Similar conditions are also expected over parts of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh on Saturday.
The bureau expects a gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3 degree Celsius over northwest India for the next three days and thereafter a fall by 2-4 degree Celsius during the subsequent four days. No significant change in minimum temperature is seen over east India for the next four days and thereafter a gradual fall in minimum temperature by 2-3 degree Celsius for the subsequent three days, it said.
