NEW DELHI – Jio Financial Services Ltd. has appointed Venkata Peri as group chief operating officer, effective Monday, the company said in an exchange filing Wednesday. Peri has over 25 years of experience in finance with a background in technology and work experience across IBM, Deloitte, and PWC in the US. He holds a Master's degree from London School of Economics.
Jio Financial had reported a net profit of INR 6.95 billion for the September quarter, up 1% on year. Shares of the company Wednesday ended 0.7% lower at INR 293.15 on the National Stock Exchange. End
