IndiGo appoints Chief Aviation Advisors to review recent disruption in ops

MUMBAI – InterGlobe Aviation Ltd. Friday said IndiGo's board has appointed aviation consultancy service provider Chief Aviation Advisors LLC. to conduct an independent expert review and assessment of the recent operational disruption and the factors that contributed to it. The review is being led by Captain John Illson, who brings over 40 years of aviation experience from organisations, including the US Federal Aviation Administration, the UN's International Civil Aviation Organization, and the International Air Transport Association, the company said in an exchange filing.
The review aims to carry out an independent root cause analysis of the recent disruption and find opportunities for improvement, the filing said. This comes after the recommendation to conduct an independent expert review on the matter by the Crisis Management Group or CMG constituted by IndiGo's board.
InterGlobe Aviation reported a net loss of INR 26.14 billion for the quarter ended September on revenue of INR 185.55 billion. On Friday, shares of the company ended nearly 0.9% higher at INR 4,860.50 on the National Stock Exchange. End
