--RBI: India Nov 14 FX reserves $692.58 bln, up $5.54 bln on week 
 

NEW DELHI – India's foreign exchange reserves rose to $692.58 billion in the week ended Nov. 14, after falling for three consecutive weeks, according to data released by the Reserve Bank of India Friday. The reserves rose by $5.54 billion in the reporting week. 

 

The country's foreign currency assets rose $152 million to $562.29 billion as of Nov. 14. The value of the central bank's gold holdings increased $5.33 billion to $106.86 billion in the reporting week.

 

Calculated in dollar terms, the RBI's foreign exchange reserves also reflect the impact of appreciation or depreciation of currencies other than the dollar, such as the euro, the pound sterling, and the yen, held by the central bank. End
