Kotak Mahindra Bank Q1 net profit slumps over 47 per cent to INR 32.82 bln

MUMBAI - Kotak Mahindra Bank's net profit for the June quarter fell sharply by 47.5% to INR 32.82 billion from INR 62.50 billion a year ago. The net profit was below analysts' estimate of INR 34.64 billion. Total income of the private sector bank for the quarter was INR 169.17 billion, up nearly 8% INR 156.75 billion a year ago.
