MUMBAI – Axis Bank's net profit for the June quarter fell INR 58.06 bln from INR 60.35 bln in the year ago period. Analysts had estimated the net profit at at INR 63.68 bln. The bank's total income rose to INR 383.22 bln from INR 358.44 bln year ago. Provisions of the bank were up at INR 39.48 bln from INR 20.39 bln year ago. Axis Bank's gross NPA ratio rose to 1.57% as of Jun 30 from 1.28% quarter ago and net NPA to 0.45% from 0.33%.
